About Dick Smith QPM (Director)
Since 1997, Dick has been operating against distributors of counterfeit product for various multi-nationals and organisations, often working in conjunction with Law Enforcement and/or Civil Lawyers.
In this role, he has been supervising and implementing investigation and surveillance ops against crime syndicates both in the UK and abroad and has been instrumental in achieving notable successes in obtaining evidence providing grounds for the recovery of lost revenue and damages on behalf of clients.
As a career detective predominantly engaged in national security matters, Dick earned a series of Judge’s, Met Commissioner’s and Chief Constable’s commendations and in 1995 was awarded the Queens Police Medal for distinguished service.
This “hands-on” experience has stood him in good stead for the transition to the commercial world. In 2002, he was awarded an “outstanding contribution” certificate by Microsoft Corp in recognition of his work for the Anti-Counterfeiting Team, Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Dick is a member of a number of UK and worldwide accredited associations related to the investigation industry.
